Justin Hannan
We’re honored to welcome Justin Hannan, a Partner at Day Pitney LLP residing in Beverly, MA, to the Peter Frates ALS Foundation Board of Directors! He was profoundly inspired by Pete’s relentless spirit and committed to helping achieve Pete’s goal of a cure for ALS and providing care for those affected.
His connection to ALS is deeply personal: His beloved mother, Lori Hannan, passed away from the disease at just 49. As a primary caretaker, he intimately understands the challenges faced by our grant recipients. Furthermore, he is Pete’s “cousin-in-law,” having shared many summer nights and holidays with Pete since 2008. This dual perspective as a family member and caretaker fuels his passion for both curing ALS and ensuring families currently affected receive immediate love and support.
With a professional background in advising companies, Justin brings invaluable skills to the board, alongside the unique and empathetic viewpoint of a caretaker and advocate. He envisions a future where the Foundation continues its vital work, ultimately helping to cure ALS. His powerful message to the community is, “We see you, we’ve been there, and we are trying to help.”
