How to Contribute
If you would like to make a contribution there are three ways that you can help.
1. The Pete Frates #3 Fund
The family and friends of Pete established this trust for assistance with Pete’s care. The donations in this fund go directly to assisting in the care of Pete. The trust supplies money for the medical, living and caregiving needs of Pete. Your donation to this trust is not tax deductible.

2. Pete Frates Home Health Initiative
The Peter Frates Home Health Initiative is a pilot program of The ALS Association, working with its Massachusetts Chapter, to provide in-home caregiving assistance for individuals living with ALS in Massachusetts who cannot otherwise pay for these services. The initiative is named in honor of Pete Frates, who inspired the world to fight ALS by taking the Ice Bucket Challenge.
3. Collaboration for a Cure
A microsite created to inform the public about ALS and the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge. Here is where supporters can view multiple ALS organizations, allowing them to donate to the activity an organization of their choosing. There are organizations on the site involved in research, patient services and/or ALS advocacy. Collaboration for a Cure represents the largest coordinated effort of ALS nonprofits to date, and many of the organizations hope to work more closely together not only on awareness and fundraising activities such as the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge, but also on providing crucial patient services and accelerating ALS research.
