Let’s Put ALS on Ice: 2nd Annual Charity Hockey Game

Let’s Put ALS on Ice is a premier charity collaboration between the Bourque Family Foundation and the Peter Frates ALS Foundation, with the proud support of the Boston Bruins Foundation and the Boston Bruins Alumni.

This annual event unites the hockey community, law enforcement, and ALS advocates as one dedicated team to “Put ALS on Ice.” Inspired by the legacy of local hero and law enforcement officer Jon C. Shepard and the global movement started by Pete Frates, we endure the intensity of the game to honor their fighting spirits. Every dollar raised supports our mission to provide financial assistance for ALS families and accelerate the path to a cure through the Sean M. Healey Center.

CARE. CURE. EDUCATE. IMPACT.

The Peter Frates ALS Foundation and the Bourque Family Foundation carry forward a mission of massive impact. Pete Frates, the former BC baseball captain who ignited the global Ice Bucket Challenge, envisioned a world where patients and families could navigate the crushing financial toll of ALS with dignity and support. Today, alongside the Bourque family and the Bruins organization, we work tirelessly to improve the quality of life for ALS patients and their caregivers while striving to strike out ALS once and for all.
